  3. I will read at least five works of Canadian literature each month.
  4. I will read at least two work of classic literature each month.
  5. I will read at least five works of Japanese literature in 2013.

  7. I will keep a record of all the reading I do, and record my thoughts for each and every book read.
  8.
I've joined a few online reading challenges which is something I've never done before.  Looking forward to diving right in! (links are below the logos - haven't learned how to hyper-link images yet).

    1. Thanks! Initially I was deluded enough to think I could make it all year. Ha ha! Then I remembered my favourite bookshop near the cottage and revised my plan. There is NO way I'm making it through a whole summer without going in there. Three days in and so far the withdrawal symptoms are minor.

  2. Thanks for the blog visit!

These are ambitious goals so congrats and I look forward to reading your thoughts on LOTR. I've got the Silmarillion sitting on my shelf and this year might just be the one where I tackle it.

    1. After about 10 years of reading by whim I feel very excited to get back to focusing on fiction and with specific goals. I look forward to reading your book thoughts. Happy Reading in 2013!
